Since 1989, Flashpoint has provided simple, precise
solutions to the most demanding production requirements.

Flashpoint gives artistic, creative people the attention they
deserve. Many respected producers and recording
engineers agree that great sounding rooms can significantly
enhance someone's sound.

Flashpoint's 1200 square feet have been designed
specifically for sound recording.

Our six isolated (but with eye-contact) musical chambers
quickly help you get the results you're after.

Flashpoint boasts an Amek Mozart console containing 40 Rupert Neve modules for a
total of 80 inputs along with GML moving fader automation. We also provide a personal
headphone mix system for each person recording.

We use Nuendo for Recording, Editing and Mixing with 96K 24 I/O capability.

There's also an 800 cubic foot stone and concrete walk-in reverb chamber that's great
for tracking as well as mix down effects. And speaking of effects we've got a ton of
outboard with some of the greatest names in vintage and new such as:

Teletronix, Urei, dBx, Pultec, Lexicon, Orban, Klark Teknik, Valley People, Drawmar,
Waves, Roland, Summit, TC Electronics, Orban, Antares, FMR-RNC, Crown, Hafler,
Tannoy, John Hardy, Yamaha, JBL, Genelec.

We also have a Kawai acoustic piano and an extensive microphone collection with mics
by Neumann, RCA, AKG, Blue, Shure, EV, Schoeps, AT, Sennheiser and Sony.

We also feature a large cedar, stone and brick 21'x14' control room. Many artists have
recorded right in the control room because it feels so comfortable.

Flashpoint, located in the heart of the downtown Austin entertainment district, has many
diverse restaurants within walking distance of the studio.

We also offer a private parking lot, a kitchen and lounge.
